Saudi Arabia has introduced a dress code for women participating in the Umrah pilgrimage, with guidelines outlined by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah for appropriate attire when visiting sacred sites.

In an official statement posted on social media, the Ministry stated that female pilgrims have the freedom to select their attire for the pilgrimage or Umrah, provided they adhere to specific criteria.

• “The clothing should be wide and loose-fitting
  “It should not have any decorative elements
  “The clothing should cover the entire body”
